Hatched

Hatched is my all-time favourite breakfast place. It has the most awesome scrambled eggs. To me, ideal scrambled eggs should be smooth and creamy and Hatched's scrambled eggs are exactly like that. And because I love cheese, places that can accomodate special orders and add a generous amount are definitely appreciated. I have been to Hatched many times and have always eaten the Papilotte so I decided to try the Le Rossini this time!

Boyfriend is a fan of the cowboy burger. The patty serving is generous and it is always cooked well-not overly dry and still tender.

I usually have the Papillote which is the picture on the left in the menu above.

I love the pancakes here! We used to always order 2 main courses and the pancakes but we were too full today:/ The pancakes here are done just right-fluffy but not too thick that it tastes flour-y. And I love that they serve proper syrup(:

The seating at Hatched.

It was a weekday lunchtime so it was pretty empty, but it's usually packed on the weekends! I would advise reserving if you're going on sat/sun.

My usual passionfruit tea. not that it's super nice or sth, I just like it cos it's cold and refreshing.

Cowboy burger-has portobello mushrooms and bacon and a beef patty and a sunny-side-up egg on top.

I LOVE the mashed potato. The homemade sauce is the yummiest ever!

Le Rossini

Look at how huge the foie gras is, so generous of them.

And I paid an extra $2 to add cheddar cheese into my eggs.

They were kindly generous with the cheese so it tasted really good.

Not to mention Le Rossini comes with truffled oil scrambled eggs-so my eggs had cheese and truffle oil!my 2 fav things!

 

Hatched serves really good eggs, and I like that the food is consistently good over the years I have been there. The prices have increased but it's still reasonable for the quality you're getting!
