I have been a fan of Jellyhearts ever since Claire introduced it to us in JC. She bought a few boxes for one of our classmate's bday celebration and i have been hooked ever since!
Jellyhearts are home-made! so you have to pick it up from the seller's house. I used to buy from someone who stayed just opposite KKH, but now for convenience sake, I purchase my jellyhearts from Downtown East!
The seller used to run her business from home somewhere really near bf's house, but Downtown East is pretty convenient too(:
First purchased from her 2-3years ago, I remember then the cream cheese later was much thicker, I bought a few boxes as my 21st bday cake (yes that's how much I love jellyhearts), the cream cheese layer has become significantly thinner unfortunately:/

As you can see, the jelly layer is really thick, which is great if you love jelly i guess.
Look at how thin the cream cheese is now:/
Used to be much thicker
So usually when i'm lazy (which happens alot), I just buy them, but when I have the time, I prefer to make them myself!
Recipe courtesy of Pravin
I like the tweak the recipe alittle, for example I don't add sugar to the digestive biscuit base and I use strawberry instead of raspberry jelly
Tips if you're making your own jellyhearts:
1) Use good quality butter: personally I like President or Lurpak. Creamy butter will make alot of difference
2) don't add sugar to your cookie base
3) baking your cookie base is important!
4) I add more whipped cream/cream than stated in the recipe-makes it more yummy(: but more unhealthy too:/
5) Cutting strawberries into heart shapes is way tedious, I just line the entire layer with sliced strawberries
6) Let each layer set well before going on to the next!
If anyone wants the jellyhearts recipe let me know(:
have you made your own jellyhearts before?
