Wah Lok at Carlton Hotel

I love good dimsum!
Crystal Jade dimsum sucks-took one bite of their egg tart and spat it out cos it was so gross. The egg part was stuck onto my upper palette due to poor quality margarine used:/ and they don't have scallop cheong fun. So yes, i'm very particular about my dim sum and I only dine at good quality ones.
 
Favourite dimsum places (that I can think of at the moment):
Taste Paradise
Imperial Treasure at Ion
Royal China at Raffles
Peach Garden
Wah Lok at Carlton hotel
Asia Grand at Odeon Towers
Lei Garden
 
 
Proper egg tarts
Custard was just right, not too sweet
pastry was served warm, flaky and buttery

Char siew pao!
kinda like the tim ho wan one
char siew used was lean and not fatty (to those who are particular)

Fish porridge
 

My absolute must-have liu sha bao!
I found that this one wasn't buttery and tasty enough:/

some beancurd dish that was pretty yummy

daddy's fav: glutinous rice in lotus leaf
quite tasty(:

I LOVE glutinous rice with vanilla ice cream
it's such a simple dessert but tastes absolutely heavenly(:
